Counterpoints Jacket Pattern Is Created Into a Creative Clever Odyssey

I just received this from Stephanie King last night and am excited to share it with all of you.

Using my Counterpoints Jacket pattern, Stephanie went on quite a creative odyssey! This is a wonderful example of the intersection of creativity, fun and skill. It’s amazing when a sewist uses a pattern as a “jumping off” point for inspiration and vision. I love seeing the endless variations that can be “teased” from one pattern. (I’ve never designed my own fabric, so might be a whole new frontier worth exploring.) Stephanie used Spoonflower.com to print her original fabric.

Here’s hoping that I’ll meet some of the members of Haute Couture Club of Chicago during my 2-day workshop with the Chicago Chapter of American Sewing Guild June 10th and 11th. Can’t wait to see all of you!

To view more of Stephanie’s story for creating this jacket, please visit her blog, http://10sewingmachines.blogspot.com/2016/04/iart-jacket-silk-culottes-and-matching.html.

Congratulations Stephanie and thank you for sharing your wonderful work with all of us!
