 90/14 Topstitch needle 
Suggested threads: 12 wt cotton threads (WonderFil Spagetti, rayon Accent, YLI Jeans Stitch and/or 8 wt. pearl crown rayon or your faves) 
Serger cone thread 8” squares of quilting weight cotton fabrics; Choose a variety from your stash. No limits on colors or prints.
