American Sewing Expo 2016

The American Sewing Expo is the largest independent sewing expo in the United States, offering classes, demonstrations, make and takes, contests, give-a-ways, shopping, shopping and more shopping for all types and levels of sewists. We started off the Expo with my Serger Techniques class: Cool Serg-ical Techniques on Wednesday. I love teaching. I always feel it's a triumph when people understand how the machine works and they lose their fear of it. Sergers are fun machines! I'm very happy at the end of class when people say, "Now I get it.
