Here’s what we will be doing:

Saturday

9:30am – 10:00am – Meet & Greet – coffee, tea and muffins

10:00am – 11:00am – Trunk Show & Introduction to Stitching Zen with Gail & Jen

11:00am – 12:00pm – Fitting Demonstration. See how easy it is to create a versatile jacket that’s perfect for all occasions. Jen will demonstrate the fitting process by working with Gail’s pattern.

12:00pm – 1:00pm – Summer Zen Lunch / Mingle

1:00pm – 4:30pm After lunch it’s time to start working on your Zen Jacket. Try on our full size range of sample jackets to pick the best size for you. We’ll consider the fabric you brought with you as we adjust your pattern for a flattering fit. After you’re happy with your adjusted pattern, it’s time to cut and serge. Work at a comfortable pace to ensure a Zen experience.

Sunday

9:30am – 10:00am – Mingle – Coffee and Muffins // We’ll pick up where you left off on Saturday. When you’re ready to sew, Gail is going to show you how to become best friends with your serger. Get professional results while constructing your jacket.

12:00pm – 1:00pm – Summer Zen Lunch / Mingle

1:00pm – 4:30pm After lunch it’s time to get to work on sewing and constructing your Zen Jacket. Work at a comfortable pace to ensure a Zen experience.

Here’s what included with registration:

The registration price for Summer Zen includes the Zen Jacket Pattern (Sizes 2xs – 4xl), Zen Fitting Guide, Tracing Paper, Woven and Knit Stay Tape, Lunch Saturday and Sunday & Coffee, Snacks.

You can stay at the Hampton Inn or there are several hotels within 5 mile radius. Please let us know if you need help with this. Gail & Jen will be having dinner Saturday night, we’d love for you to join us (separate checks please). The hotel is 40 minute Uber ride from BWI Airport.
