Decorative Stitches Serger Workshop

🧵 Sergers can handle thick decorative threads to create strong stitching and fabulous surface embellishments. In this workshop, you'll discover how a 2-thread overlock stitch can be transformed into 3 distinctly different decorative stitches and more. We’ll create in both overlock and cover/chainstitch mode. Your serger might even become your new favorite embellishment tool!

You don’t need these for the live class if you prefer to watch the class and ask questions, then work at your own pace with the recorded class link (which you'll have forever). That works well for many students. But if you do want to stitch along, here are suggested supplies:

•  90/14 Topstitch needle 

• Suggested threads: 12 wt cotton threads (WonderFil Spagetti, rayon Accent, YLI Jeans Stitch and/or 8 wt. pearl crown rayon or your faves) 

• Serger cone thread 8” squares of quilting weight cotton fabrics; Choose a variety from your stash. No limits on…
